U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HTW Boring Log Form

This form is not compatible with LOGDRAFT III (our DOS drilling log program): DOS users please use SAMPLE4 instead.

To use the form:

Start by clicking on the above download link. Your browser will ask where you want to place the download: make sure that you place it into the same hard disk subdirectory that holds your LOGDRAFT program (this is usually C:\ld3 for the DOS version, C:\PROGRAM FILES\GEOSYS or C:\GEOSYS for the Windows version).
Once you've downloaded the file, double-click on your "My Computer" icon, or open the Windows Explorer.
Using Windows Explorer or the "My Computer" dialog, navigate to the hard disk directory where your LOGDRAFT program is installed: in the right-hand pane you should be able to find the file you just downloaded. Note that the file may or may not end in ".EXE"; for instance, you may see either "COEHTW" or "COEHTW.EXE".
Once you've found the file you downloaded, double-click on it -- this should open a DOS window and show a number of files being "extracted". If you get any messages to the effect that a certain file already exists, say "y" to the "Overwrite" message.
Next, start LD4 then start a new project. Choose "Project" > "Default Data Entry Form" and select COEHTW as your data entry form.

When you're ready to print, select "Print" > "Reports", select the borings you're looking to print, then click on the "Report Forms" Print Settings tab and click on the COEHTW report form.
