PADOT (old version!)

To use the form, start by clicking on the above download link. Your browser will ask where you want to place the download: make sure that you place it into the same hard disk subdirectory that holds your LOGDRAFT program (this is usually C:\ld3 for the DOS version, C:\PROGRAM FILES\GEOSYS or C:\GEOSYS for the Windows version).
Once you've downloaded the file, open the Windows Explorer or File Manager program (under Windows95/98/NT, click on the Start button, choose "Programs", then "Windows xx Explorer".)
Use Explorer/File Manager to show the hard disk directory where your LOGDRAFT program is installed (again, this is usually C:\LD3): in the right-hand pane you should be able to find the file you just downloaded. Note that under Windows95/98/NT, the file may or may not end in ".EXE"; for instance, you may see either "PADOT" or "PADOT.EXE".
Once you've found the file you downloaded, double-click on it -- this should open a DOS window and show a number of files being "extracted". If you get any messages to the effect that a certain file already exists, say "y" to the "Overwrite" message.

To use the form with LOGDRAFT III: Start LOGDRAFT then start a new project. When the program asks you for the data structure to be used with the new project, make sure to choose the data structure listed next to the form name on this page (the data structure names are this color).

When you're ready to print, from the "First Page Template" prompt on the Select Output Options screen, make sure to choose one of the forms you just downloaded: form names are listed under the download link (the form names are this color).

To use the form with LD4: Start LD4 then start a new project. Choose "Project" > "Default Data Entry Form" and select the data structure listed next to the form name on this page (the data structure names are this color).

When you're ready to print, click on the "Report Forms" Print Settings tab then make sure to choose one of the forms you just downloaded: form names are listed under the download link (the form names are this color).

OUT OF DATE VERSION! Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation forms These are older (pre-6.Jun.2003) versions of the PA DOT forms. Do not download this unless you need it for compatibility purposes (i.e., you have been using the older forms and need to install to a new computer): use the PADOT NEW forms listed above.
