CTDOTMET.EXE
To use the form:
- Start by clicking on the above download
link. Your browser will ask where you want to place the download:
make sure that you place it into the same hard disk subdirectory
that holds your LOGDRAFT program (this is usually C:\ld3 for the DOS
version, C:\PROGRAM FILES\GEOSYS or C:\GEOSYS for the Windows versions).
- Once you've downloaded the file, double-click
on your "My Computer" icon, or open the Windows Explorer.
- Using Windows Explorer or the "My
Computer" dialog, navigate to the hard disk directory where your
LOGDRAFT program is installed: in the right-hand pane you should be
able to find the file you just downloaded. Note that the file may
or may not end in ".EXE"; for instance, you may see either "CTDOTMET"
or "CTDOTMET.EXE".
- Once you've found the file you downloaded,
double-click on it -- this should open a DOS window and show a
number of files being "extracted". If you get any messages to the
effect that a certain file already exists, say "y" to the "Overwrite"
message.
- To use the form with LOGDRAFT
III: Start LOGDRAFT then start a new project. When
the program asks you for the data structure to be used with the new
project, select CTDOT.
- When you're ready to print, from the "First
Page Template" prompt on the Select Output Options screen, select CTDOT.
- To use the form with LOGDRAFT
4 or 5: Start LOGDRAFT
then start a new project. Choose "Project" > "Default
Data Entry Form" and select CTDOT as your data entry form.
- When you're ready to print, press Ctrl-P (to show the report printing
dialog), select the borings you're looking to print,
then click on the "Report Forms" Print Settings tab and click
on the CTDOT report form.
NOTE: This form must
be printed with a vertical scale of 100 cms./cm.
