CONS supports a very basic consolidation test -- without specific gravity data -- and a thorough version without specific gravity and post-test sample data.

CONS supports the database of deflection tables, which are measurements of loading frame deflections at various applied pressures. CONS subtracts these deflections from test reading to obtain a more accurate result.

The curve displays are redrawn as new data is entered, which can be handy when determining the stopping point for a loading increment.

CONS supports square-root (time) and log(time) time-rate curves.

Testing summary provides a convenient paper trail of testing results

Consolidation incorporates several different report formats. The program supports a number of different measurement systems for reporting dimensions, pressures and densities. For example, you can enter your dial readings in inches and report the results in centimeters.

Any CONS report can either tabulate or chart Cv values.

CONS can produce time-rate reports with either 2 charts per page...

... or 4 reports per page.

The Data Summary and Export facility lists the test results for an entire project's CONS tests. These may be printed or imported into a database or spreadsheet program.
